HUTCH MIDWEST SEWING & VACUUM CENTER

July 26th, 2015
It was sure a hot week but a good one.   I got the Christmas in July/Customer Appreciation orders placed last week.  Most of the orders should be in byWednesday, so I'll be contacting you when your order is in.   Keep in mind that if you need anything I'll special order the items for you.   I've got a few instructional classes schedule for the next couple of weeks so if you are still needing a class please let me know so that I can get you scheduled.  I went to the Heart of KS Quilt Show Saturday afternoon.    They had a great show.   Beautiful quilts, it was hard to pick the best of show.   Loved all the fabric vendor at the show, hopefully they did well.   I listened to the gentleman talk about Log Cabin blocks.   I never thought about how many different looks a log cabin block  could make.   Great show quilt guild.   Glad I got to enjoy it.
This week schedule:
Monday, July 27 -- at home working on insurance
Wednesday, July 29 -- Maddison (my 5 year old granddaughter) is spending time with me as she makes a pillowcase and jammie bottoms.   This is so cool that she want to sew like her big sister.

Tuesday August 11th -- 9:30 am and 7:00 pm  Sewing/Quilting Club "Home is where the heart is"   A little here and there can complete each room of the house with decorative pillows you've seen in magazines--simple piecing, tapering, large letters, quilted effects, tiny ruffles trim and corded piping all create special effects for all styles.   Class Fee:  None just come
Thursday August 13th -- 9:30 am Bernina Instructional Class
Saturday, August 15th -- 10:00 am  Software Inspiration Club "Going in Circles"  Work with the beautiful outline stitches in the software as well as create your own stitch patterns from scratch.   Manipulate the stitches to create beautiful circular pattern stitch embroideries.  Class Fee:   $20.00

Remember if you need vacuum cleaner supplies or service Hayes Sight and Sound took over the vacuum division of Hutch Midwest.   At this time I am still able to get any sewing accessories or notions. Let me know if you need a class also.
We are just about ready to close out a busy July and August is almost here.    Where did the summer go?   Kids will starting school soon.  Stay cool this week.   BJ

Now for an update,   I ran away last weekend to spend time with granddaughters in the KC area while thier parents were on a trip.   Had a great time.   I was feeling a little lost this week but I still have lots of stuff to do for insurance.   I'm also missing you, my customer.   I have been offered some retail space so that I can teach some classes, clubs and any body that needs help.   This is a temporily space till I can make final decisions.   My hours are going to some what fexible (no set hours at this time).   I do want to continue with Embroidery Club, Sewing/Quilt Club & Software Sampler Club, so any schedule February club won't meet in the month of Feb. but I'm planning on back to normal schedule in March for clubs.    Any questions just call the store number 620 663-2523.   I will announce the location as how to find me next week.   Thanks again to all of you.   BJ
