March 2, 2015
Sorry I didn't get anything posted last week. I was waiting on a phone before I made plans the month of March. The old store has been released to us for cleanup. The phone call I was waiting on was from the restoration company that will be helping us with the process. It will be a big job as everything needs to be document. Here's the plans for right now.
March 6th 10:00--Embroidery Club
March 10th--NO SEWING CLUB (we will be cleaning up a the old store for about 2 weeks,I may try to schedule it later this month)
March 14th 10:00 am or 1:00 pm--Software Inspiration Club (software sampler)
March 16th 6:00 pm--Embroidery Club???(please check with me, I may reschedule for March 23rd)
March 21st 10:00 am --Software Inspirations
Just a reminder the "The Women's Show" will be at the fairgrounds on March 28th, I will not be there this year.
I think I've brought you up to date. Please call if you need anything or need to schedule a lesson. I think once the old store is cleared I will be able to focus on those of you who need classes. BJ
Had a little snow last night. Sure was pretty. We had a very successful Software Inspiration Club meeting at Cottonwood Quilts this last Saturday. We are planning on the next Software
Inspiration Club meeting (which would have been the Feb. 21 meeting) for February 28th. Please let me or Bev know if you plan to attend.
I'm also making plans to do Embroidery Club and Sewing Club again starting in March. So look at the March calendar for the dates. All club meetings will be held in the Hayes Sight and Sound building 506 N. Main. One thing that is important to me is that
those of you who purchased sewing machines, embroidery machines, or serger PLEASE PLEASE call so that I can schedule your classes. I know who may have purchased but do not have your phone numbers. If you need service on your sewing machines or vacuums please call to that we can get that done for you as well. If you need feet, sewing supplies, or vacuum bags let me know so that I can special order them for you. Have a great day. BJ
If you purchased a machine from us you are entitled to free lessons on your machine, please call so that I can schedule those classes. If you are needing supplies
for sewing or vacuums let me know, I can special order. Thanks again for your patience as we work through the fire. My store number has not changed 620 663-2523. BJ
Good Morning the sun is shining and it's suppose to warm up again. There is beauty in each day, yesterday the wind blew but the snow as so pretty, sometimes it just takes time to see the end results.
Now for an update, I ran away last weekend to spend time with granddaughters in the KC area while thier parents were on a trip. Had a great time. I was feeling a little lost this week but I still have lots of stuff to do for insurance. I'm also missing you, my customer. I have been offered some retail space so that I can teach some classes, clubs and any body that needs help. This is a temporily space till I can make final decisions. My hours are going to some what fexible (no set hours at this time). I do want to continue with Embroidery Club, Sewing/Quilt Club & Software Sampler Club, so any schedule February club won't meet in the month of Feb. but I'm planning on back to normal schedule in March for clubs. Any questions just call the store number 620 663-2523. I will announce the location as how to find me next week. Thanks again to all of you. BJ
